I graduated from Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders) in 2007. I worked in public relations for two years and realized I wanted to do something different. I went back to school and taught kindergarten for 6 years at Wilshire Elementary in HEB, and then came to Lakewood to teach first grade four years ago. I am married to my best friend and we have two children, Adelyn (6) and Bennett (3). We are expecting a baby girl in December. We also have two mini schnauzers, Chloe and Sadie.
