They are recognized by their particular physical characteristics as flat ears, long trunk, and tusks. They use their trunk to do many things like drinking water, catch things, make sounds, and even to say hello. They are herbivore, so they use their trunk as hands to take plants and leafs from trees. Even though elephants seem very strong they always travel in groups to protect each other from danger. Elephants are in danger because of hunting. People sell their tusks by big amounts of money, so they are always in danger.  Is our job to protect them.
