Thank you Dr Wahida for your informative presentation. I have a question about balancing the inclusion of landmark studies and recent research in our literature review. For my topic, many of the landmark studies were published between 2016 and 2019. However, I’m also aware that we must include more recent studies, ideally within the last five years, to strengthen the review.

Is there any guideline or rule about how many percent of our references should come from studies within the past five years?

Dr Wahida, can the citation between subheadings are repeated in one to another subheadings? Because sometimes the paper discuss things that can be cited in different topics. Is that will affect the quality of LR if referencing is jumbled up and repeated?

1. Should the table for the LR be drafted for each sub subsection instead of the main-sections?

2. Are there any specific tips for identifying the research gap after summarizing the table?
