I want to tell you about my best friend.  Her name is Elizabeth.  But I often call her Lizzy.  She was born in Moscow, but moved with her family to Nakhabino as a child.  Her mother is from the Don, and her grandfather is a Don Cossack.  She is very proud of it.  We met at school.  Now she studies at the university as a policewoman.

 Lisa has long straight blond hair.  She has green eyes, full lips and very beautiful high cheekbones.  She is  medium height and rather thin.

 I love her sense of humor, she is very funny.  She is often impatient, but also very kind and affectionate, because she has a big warm heart.

 She likes wathing TV shows and listening to music.  She learned the piano for 7 years and loves playing  it, as well as singing.  Before, we often liked to watch football.  We supported the same team and even chose husbands there, because we were small and thoughtless, it seemed funny to us.

 I am so glad I met her.

My brother took the photo in the summer of 2017 when we were on holiday in Airlie Beach, Australia. It was in August but in Australia it was rather cold like winter in our part of the world and there were very few tourists. 

We were at a very nice and elegant apartment hotel. In this place we enjoyed a very beautiful ocean view because the hotel is located on a hill. That morning I went to the pool to watch the sunrise. Imagine my suprise when I saw cockatoos sitting on the floor. There were so many of them and they weren’t at all afraid of me. It was fascinating. One of the cockatoos sat on my shoulder and at that moment my brother took this photo. I was scared but very happy. 

I love this photo because it reminds me of the lovely morning. I remember this place with great love and dream of returning there again. 

I have the photo on my hard drive disk with other photos of my life.

Kozino is a very nice place. There are many private houses and only 3 three-storey blocks of flats. We only have two grocery stores, but there is no need for more.

 

It’s warm enough in summer, of course if it doesn’t rain. You can swim in the river and sunbathe. Autumn is warmer than spring, because spring is terribly proclaimed here and snow can fall in May. In winter the temperature drops to minus 10 degrees of Celsius. This Is the typical weather for the Moscow region.

 

The village is famous for its church, which has an interesting history. In the 16th century in Russia the village belonged to the Orthodox Church and there was a white-stone church here, but during the Second World War  it was blown up. There is a wooden church  instead of the temple now.

 

There are large fields and a forest around the place where I live. My favorite place is a meadow with oak trees. I like living close to nature and I also like that there are few people here. It inspires me and makes my life a little calmer.

Hamam has a special time for women and a different time for men. Having come to the hammam, I paid and signed a contract, after that the lady gave welcome tea and Turkish sweets to me, and showed me where I can undress, after I changed into a towel.  The lady invited me to the hot room, where the ritual itself was held.
To relax and soften my skin as well as to help my body to get used to the heat of the Hamam, the first I laid down on the Göbektaşı, the hexagon heated marble in the middle, for at least 10 minutes. Then, the attendant took me to the next to the Kurna (the marble water basin) where she washed my body with a special scrubbing mitten, the kese. After rinsing, the final step of the ritual – Köpük (bubble soap wash) and I was rubbed with a loofah, I felt relaxed/ good/ it made me feel good.

And after Hamam I left the hot rooms right after the ritual to camegah. Camegah is the area where you may rest on the comfortable sofas and taste the traditional refreshments and delicacies of the Café Menu. 
After Hamam, I went to have breakfast and walked around the museums of modern art.  and  I had pasta for a gala dinner in an Italian restaurant.

A year ago, I made myself coffee and after that I wanted to take a photo with a cup of coffee. I took a photo, then my cat jumped and successfully got into the frame.
