What is the Virtual Work Experience tool?

By using this tool, you’ll get to see the inner workings of a digital transformation agency, and actively work with different departments on one exciting project, helping them solve problems and complete real-life tasks.

As part of the experience, you’ll also see lots of tips as well as links through to other LifeSkills content. These are designed to help you learn how best to deal with situations you may come across in the workplace. Following these links will help you get the most out of your virtual work experience and learn more about the vital skills you’ll need in the workplace.

Our work experience offering currently provides an online work experience programme for young people aged 14-19 in the UK.

You’ll have the opportunity to take part in a unique virtual work experience that’ll give you the information you need to know more about invaluable careers and opportunities within Brighton & Hove City Council, so you know what career could suit you best!

What's included
This programme will cover many diverse roles and pathways available at Brighton & Hove City Council. By exploring the five directorates of the council - a section of departments responsible for specific areas - you’ll get an insight into how the council has a part to play in the local area. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to participate in activities that’ll put you in the hot seat, test your knowledge on some great quizzes, and speak to inspiring professionals in live webinars.
