I haven’t finished the book, as I am not very fond of reading myself. However, this book is very interesting that it can catch my attention and kept me reading; one page after another. I guess it is because how the writer wrote the book. It is very personal, as if she is talking to you, face to face. And it is also very informative, and it helped me realize a lot of things and facts about my own nature as a human being. It helped me went through some hard times in life. I mean it’s not like I’m going through something major, but everyone surely is going through something, easy or hard. When I read this book, it gave me a sense of comfort and made me realize what i have been doing wrong my whole life. For example putting other things or people ahead of my priority list, turning to other than Allah when a calamity strikes me, sat in isolation when i am sad. All these are wrong. As a muslim, I should have an undivided confidence that all the calamity that strikes me came from Allah, not for the worst, but for the better. Trials and tribulation became hard when we thought we have nowhere to turn to.
