I especially enjoyed the first and fourth picture and your reflections that came with them. I liked how your first picture related to the land and how I was able to immediately make the connection to the grade four curriculum. There is definitely a lot you can do with that particular picture; the metaphors are endless! I really liked how you were able to incorporate several grades and concepts with your fourth picture.

I really liked the picture of the globe and the book about freedom. I thought it was a great way to show how lucky we are as Canadians to have the rights and freedoms we have today.  I think it’s important to discuss the Canadian rights and freedoms but also to be able to discuss how many other countries don’t have the same rights and freedoms that we are so fortunate to have. I like how you applied the grade 3 and grade 6 programs of study to this picture as it relates well. Overall, great pictures and reflections!
