The best case scenario would be to have wisdom in youth and old age. Just because someone is young doesn’t mean they can’t begin learning wisdom and growing in it. The worst case scenario would be a person advanced in years who still walks in folly. These are the people who fail to take advantage of their young years and waste the time they had to learn.

There are many things that we cannot accomplish on our own.
Question 10- Kyra Hansen I think that pride truly is the greatest downfalls because pride keeps us from doing things with and for other people. Pride keeps us worried about ourselves and what we have and what we need. Excessive pride blocks us from having deep connections with people and the world around us. If we all had excessive pride this world would corrupt because we wouldn’t be concerned about anything else besides ourselves.

Question 3- Kyra Hansen I put a question mark on this because I believe that it all depends on who you look up to as a role model. If I went around asking people as to who might be their role model one person may say Miley Cyrus and another may say Tim Tebow. I think that Tim Tebow is a great role model of today, but I personally don’t really think Miley is. Each person you ask will have a different answer of to who they think a hero/heroine is and to who they look up to, which is why I can't say if I truly do or don't agree with this statement.

Question 2- Kyra Hansen I think some of the greatest accomplishments come from learning about other people. While it is super important for a person to learn about themselves, if they just learn about themselves they won’t grow any relationships. We learn from other people, our religions and beliefs, the things we put first in life come from learning about other people. If all we did was learn about ourselves we would know nothing about the world around us, or have the things we put as a top priority.

Question Four- Kyra Hansen I think that murder is murder, which is a sin. You may have the craziest reason or the “best” for doing so, but that will never changed the fact that you killed a person. Killing them just makes you look even worse than you did, and maybe even worse than they did. I don’t think you can be “let-off the hook” for murdering someone, no matter the case.

If you have a strong character you’re most likely known as a good person, but if you have a weak character you’re also most likely known as a bad individual. So needless to say your physical strength does not make you who you are. So yes, strength of character is more important.

My first instinct was to say no, because there are worse things that people do than be prideful. However, the more I thought about it, pretty much all of our bad decisions we make are because of hubris. For example, say that I am choosing whether or not to go against my instructor’s commands because I think that I know better. Pride causes obliviousness and close mindedness. Pride makes you do bad things.

Although having great physical strength could be a very valuable skill to have, leading to certain opportunities some people might not have. It isn’t all about strength. Being a good person is way more valuable in my eyes, being an honest and compassionate person is a good thing, You don’t want to be one of those really strong guys that has no intelligence whatsoever and just makes themselves look like a fool at times. For example, let’s say you are a competitive weightlifter, lying and cheating will get you disqualified, wasting that skill of strength

Any obstacle can be overcome if you put your mind to it. It is all a personal decision, whether or not you try your best to complete your goals and overcome all challenges and obstacles. For example, if you want to make the NBA, you have to spend your daily life, in the gym, training, and working out. It is a grueling process, but it is possible for everyone as long as they put forth the effort and determination.
