At first, the electric motor did not spun and the battery/wires werent hot. So I figured that it was the connection between the ends of the batteries with the wires that didnt allow for the electric current to pass through to the wires. So I improved it by making sure the paper clips are in full contact with the extruded ends of the battery and stabilized its position with more tape.

Copper wires are conductors that electric current can pass through. Sanding off the copper of the wires gets rid of the insulation to improve the flow of the electric current. The copper wires then makes a coil, which helps create torque from the electric current, thus, the circle serves as a magnet from the electricity generated.

The magnet serves as a magnetic force to move the copper circle at the top. When spinning the wires, the magnet and the magnetic force from the electric currents of the copper wires spins the copper circles at a very fast speed since magnets and the magnetic field attracts and thus, making the copper wire spin.
