One of the difference is the content of the news in the first one it talks about the people who were there and in the other the mediumthey used. Another difference is the narrative mode implemented. The passive voice reduce the impact of the event.

The most atractive version is version because it emphasizes the actions og the astronauts and hightlight the archivements of humanity.

The active voice hightlight the role of the astronaut, giving special prominence to the people who withessed the event. in contrast, the passive voice gives the news as a story, talking away the impact of the eventen.

The assassination of the Jhon F. Kennedy:

Active: "Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated John F. Kennedy."

Passive: "John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas."

I would use the active voice because it makes the story more engaging and highlights the role of the astronauts. It creates a stronger emotional connection with the audience by showing their achievements directly.
