I'm a GP aged 50yrs+ with 30years of medicine behind me. I know stuff. I don't know other stuff. I like to pass the stuff I know is helpful on, and share the stuff which hasn't got an obvious answer. I like learning from the students about what's new and what I don't know.

There's resources which are easy to access and use with students, and really terrible ones. Help me chose? Almost all my teaching is one to one, and is usually in response to clinical scenarios. How can I structure this better for students? What do they find works?(Tech help) I use technology -I don't want to understand it, or spend ages getting things to work....(barriers)

I am Consultant in Emergency Medicine, relatively early in my Consultant career. I am already starting to feel behind by not being able to use the technologies out there to aid teaching and learning. Digital technology has the capacity to consume time and I am looking forward to learning tips to combat this and more.

Tech goes hand in hand with radiology and I feel it is an essential tool to make sure we teach the next generation of doctors in an effective and efficient way. I think I'm quite good with technology but there is a real sink or swim feel to it. I'm hoping this course will improve my swimming skills!

I am an Orthopaedic surgeon. I have been teaching for a long time. Most of my teaching is based on images - anatomy, Surgical exposure, Diagnostic Xrays, postop Xrays and complications. A number of youtube videos of surgical procedures are available. I would like to be able to make a presentation adding all these together to make it more interesting. I have had difficulty accessing my presentation at different sites and I would like to take it with me everywhere easily.

Hi, I am just an old "bauld" General Surgeon. Never found anything digital that didn't take more time and effort than it was worth (principally because I don't have the time or knowledge required). Feeling like a dinosaur so looking for a digital rebirth :-)

Hello, I'm Mark, a geriatrician surprised at finding myself to be a more senior member of my department! Where does the time go? As somebody who continues to learn I use technology all the time and am aware of its advantages and pitfalls, but I am aware that I haven't even heard of many of the technological resources and am equally aware that new things pop up every day. I'm wondering how we steer our way through this and importantly protect ourselves and our students (and our patients) from the huge amount of misinformation available. See you tomorrow. Mark

Hi. Laura, Geriatrician. Keeping up with all the resources is an impossible task. I am constantly amazed at the school educational links that are available for primary school, let alone university. I am sure I can make better use of what is out there for myself and others.

I am a physician with 25 years clinical experience but getting increasingly worried about being left behind due to difficulty keeping up with the new resources being available and used everyday by students, patients and my 15 year old. I worry about the authenticity of the resources and also the time needed to keep up with so many of them as well as learning about them. Where does this end and when can I get time to have 'life'?
