I am incredibly proud of my students for their unwavering support and kindness towards the seniors during the games. Their united cheering not only brought immense joy to the seniors but also created a heartwarming atmosphere of togetherness. Despite the challenges in communication, 5 Resilience students put in tremendous effort to engage with the seniors, demonstrating their compassion and dedication to making a meaningful connection.

The boys relished this opportunity to do something for the elderly and they exceeded all expectations of them by displaying exemplary character. Many of them let me see them in a different light - a good one at that - and really showed that they can rise to the occasion and be very good ambassadors of SAJS. The elderly and also helpers at the centre were thoroughly impressed with our boys and even requested an encore of their performance. Everyone was very happy with their performance and their ability to engage the seniors.

The students enjoyed interacting with the elderly, particularly through playing games and having conversations. They found joy in seeing the elderly happy and appreciated the opportunity to learn about their lives and interests. Many students mentioned how rewarding it was to communicate with the elderly, even overcoming language barriers and hearing difficulties. They also took pride in their teamwork, cooperation, and the positive feedback they received from the seniors.

As a teacher, I am proud to see the students demonstrating empathy, enthusiasm, and dedication. I can feel their desire to connect with and bring joy to the elderly, demonstrating compassion and social awareness. They worked well together in organising the games for the elderly, highlighting their teamwork and leadership skills. Their ability to communicate effectively, even in challenging situations, reflects their growth in interpersonal skills. Seeing them make a positive impact and take pride in their contributions fills me with immense pride.

SAJS students were very well mannered.

They are also very well prepared and they all know well that what they should do next.

The whole program were smooth.

The seniors enjoyed the students' company and they even ask SAJS students to sing the songs again before the students depart from the centre.
