thanks for everything. really-- you've had a great impact on me. eek. why am i so nervous about this? i guess i will just tell you want i wanted to before. well, when i first met you, you were extremely distant. i thought you were weird and quite frankly, a bit overdramatic because of the situation about love. but nevertheless, it is in my nature to help out whenever someone is feeling sad-- even if the circumstance seems ridiculous. so i told myself ' hey, why don't i try to comfort this guy? ' it didn't seem like it would hurt to try, so i went along with it.
so as we started to talk more and spend more time together, i began to see you open up more-- even though you were still quiet. but you were less quiet at that point. and i found myself finding you interesting. not in a dating way, but in a friendly way. and i wanted to get to know you even more. so despite the fact that you gave me the cold shoulder at times, i still did whatever i could to cheer you up in the best possible way ever. then it happened. it was just you and i on that boulder. and of course-- you already know this, but let me explain myself. that evening and that morning, it was you and i. but it was that precise moment that i felt something. it was like a tingling sensation. i ignored it for some time. i thought it was just a little fling of some sort. nothing to really worry about. there have been times that i spent with a guy and i felt the same sensation, but in the end, it was just a spur of the moment. so i figured this was the same situation. and besides, you were still on the thought of that certain other, whom i know who she was. so i let the feeling go. but like you had told me before, it was the rain that did it for me. you said you believed that people fall in love in the rain. i believe that too. you suddenly became so different to me. at first i saw you just as a quiet and selfish guy that was melodramatic. but now, i saw you as-- jaehyun. just jaehyun. and that's what i had longed to see, because i knew the guy i had met earlier was not jaehyun. he was an alter ego in my opinion. but at that point it was different. you were finally yourself and that made me very happy. the moment was perfect. and i could feel my heart racing. and i knew it then. it all made sense then. so yeah. there you go. ridiculously cheesy, i know. don't judge me. but i'm not done yet. nope. not quite. you're a great man. i enjoy spending time with you. and i hope you enjoy spending time with me as well. i cherish the little things that we have done together. they are simple yet memorable. i don't need anything extravagant to make me satisfied. i just need that significant other to be with me and that is all that matters. and in this case, you happen to be that significant other. hopefully in the future we are happy to do more things together. or we could do nothing-- i'm fine with that as well.
