I teach P.E. online and I have a Muslim student who wears a hijab. She refuses to turn her camera on when we are exercising. It is the school's policy that students must have their cameras on, but she turns it off when exercising because her father does not allow her to exercise when there are men present. I respect her decision and am not interested in making her or her family uncomfortable or penalizing her with a bad grade. How do you suggest I adapt that part of the curriculum for her?
