I do think that there is a connection between taking good notes and performing well in exams and assessments. I think there is a connection because, if you have bad note taking like with, bad hand writing, missing information, and not paying attention while the teacher is talking you most likely wont be able to study and remember important info, but if you have good notes with, nice hand writing, no missing info then you'll do better on exams than with bad note taking, cause you could study and be prepared

I think some kids don't take notes because they think it wont benefit them or sometimes its out of laziness.
