1. How did this first "week" go for you? Was the online platform challenging? Why or why not? What could Mr. Burr have done better?

I think that the first week went well! I don’t think that the online platform provided any difficulties, in fact it made it easier so that I could go back and view the videos and see the instructions again. I think that Mr. Burr was very helpful, I really like that we get feedback on what we do.

2. What was the most valuable thing you learned this week? Why?

I think the most valuable thing I learned this week was about how different angles from different distances can really make a video. I didn’t realize how boring one angle/ the same shot could be!

3. How were the Skillshare tutorials? What did you like or not like about them?

I liked the Skillshare tutorials. They were super quick and clear and I could go back to them if I had questions.

4. How did you feel about the Capture a Location project? What went well? What could go better?

I think that the project went fairly well. I think I generally did a good job with lighting, but I had a few issues with shakes in my video that resulted from me putting a tripod on a skateboard to get a shot of my dog walking that I had to eventually scrap. I also crashed the computer several times, so I think I might need to work on my patience as well.

5. Do you feel like you have a basic understanding of iMovie and shooting video on your phone? Why or why not?

I think that I have an understanding of iMovie and shooting video on my phone. I came into this class with experience in both and further experience with editing in Premier Elements, but I feel like I learned how to use iMovie better and more efficiently.
