School buses would transport the class there and they would spend the day playing recreational games outdoors and swimming in the pool. Teachers & staff would grill lunch and/or kids would brown bag. It was an all day event that would culminate the end of the year and kick off summer in a healthy, fun, substance free way with their peers.


    Perhaps we could look into bringing this, or something like it, back to the middle school as an option for youth to get together as a year end celebration that is not a "house party?" If LTC is not an option maybe the YMCA or another similar venue?
