After the buckets are filled, stretch a large balloon over top of each bucket and cut a small hole just high enough for the children to put their hand through. Ask the children if they are nervous or uneasy about exploring the buckets. Ask them what they think are in the buckets. Then let them individually explore the buckets and ask some prompting questions. “What does it feel like?” “What is the temperature like?
