         <description><![CDATA[<div>HOW:<br>Interactive whiteboards are there to improve teaching and learning. It is a digital board that the teacher can display content on. The whiteboard makes content and learning more exciting and engaging because the learners focus on this large board with all the information. Learners can also interact with the board as most boards have the option to write on as well.&nbsp;<br><br>TEACHING STRATEGY:&nbsp;<br>Interactive whiteboards make learning more interactive and learner centred as the learners focus on the board and then focus on the content rather than the teacher. The board allows for co-operative and interactive learner focussed instruction as it is the perfect tool to use for interactive discussion.  The whiteboard allows for creativity and problem solving to flourish. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>HOW:<br>Data projectors can be used in the place of interactive whiteboards as they are more affordable. The content can be largely displayed on the board or on the walls or even the ceiling if you are learning about space and want to project planets and stars in the sky. Projectors make learning exciting and effective because it opens doors to the digital world as teachers can display videos on them which is attention grabbing and will make learners focussed on the content.&nbsp;<br><br>TEACHING STRATEGY:<br>With projectors learning is more direct and focussed on the content, it draws away from direct instruction and learning is focussed on the students because the teacher is not teaching at them. It rather allows learners to focus and form their own opinions and ideas when taking in the content. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>HOW:<br>The internet can be used in a variety of different ways in the science classroom.&nbsp; It can be used individually to do research, or to play educational games. It can be used in groups to do research and complete tasks. it can be used by the whole class to look at information and experiments, or look at videos on YouTube. The internet can be used for so many educational purposes to discover and explore science in a way that is familiar to todays generation.&nbsp;<br><br>TEACHING STRATEGY:<br>The internet can be used to promote a variety of teaching strategies as it can be used to suit all the learning strategies. It can be used to help learners critically think by having them work individually to form their own opinions and solutions. It can be used for group work and co-operative learning. The internet can be incorporated into any teaching strategy as it will cause focussed learning as it is something the learners enjoy.  <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>HOW:<br>Phones come in handy in the science class as almost all learners have either a phone or a tablet. Learners can use them to make videos for presentations, to do research, and to use applications and games for educational purposes, such as science games. They can also complete online quizzes and tasks.&nbsp;<br><br>TEACHING STRATEGY:<br>Phones promote critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity in science learning due to the variety of purposes. Phones can be used for all teaching strategies, but ensure they aren't overused as this may cause an information overload and distractions. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>HOW:<br>Computers can be used for learners to play science games, to complete presentations, to do research, to watch videos, and even to do projects and homework.&nbsp; Computers can be used to do tests in different formats and to introduce students to the digital world of science, computers can also be used to explore virtual reality.&nbsp;<br><br>TEACHING STRATEGY:<br>Teaching strategies for the use of computers can vary. Teachers may incorporate them for individual learning, for testing, for group work, and for co-operative learning. Computer use will result in learners taking in the content better as it is something that is new and exciting for them. </div>]]></description>

I think it is a creative way to display information and there are so many different things you can use and add with padlet. This task taught me a lot about technology use in the classroom and how important it is for the future. I also learnt lots about the integration of technology and how we can use different forms in the classroom as teaching aids. </div>]]></description>
