It was an introductory class. Our teacher gave us an overview on how this distance learning idea will work. After which we discussed, how we will be having our assessments. Uploading them on ManageBac and having presentations using Flip Grid. We also discussed how it is important for us to complete our assignments and take ownership. Towards the end of the class we had a Q&A session. What went well is that, the class had a smooth flow. Just like our regular classes. The only thing that did not go well was that we had a few internet issues. Content- The infograph revolves around the current issue of violence against women, which has taken a rise because of the global pandemic.

Style- Statistics in the infograph, are highlighted, grabs the attention of the audience.  The enlarged statistics alarm the audience. Statistics add on to the logos appeal of the text.
Shadow- darkness, how the pandemic has brought in the violence/ darkness.
The logos appeal in a way adds on to the pathos appeal. Statistics.
Symbolism- The lightning flash passing through the women, symbolizes the shatter and pain she is going through. She is breaking apart. It could also symbolize the danger the women are going through.
The picture of women of different ages, symbolize how not just one group of women are victims of violence, but women of all ages are victims of the violence.

Structure-
The infographic is very well organized. As, in the beginning it gives an overview of the violence on a global scale. As we read along, it becomes more detailed and specific. The infographic has used salience very effectively. The number 243, the title and the image are positioned together, which grabs the audiences attention. This also allows the audience to get a gist of the main idea in one look. The text in the infograph is organised in such a way that it is easy for the audience to understand the topic. (columns) The white spaces in the middle of each column makes the infographic more aesthetically pleasing. As, it does not look congested.
