         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Topic:</strong> Animals - Farm animal, sea creatures &amp; Pets<br><strong>Concept:</strong> Child will form and copy single words in lower case alphabets with appropriate letter formations during circle time<br><strong>Objective: <br>1.</strong>Child will use object for learning by using magnet to form words or using marker to write words<br>2. Child will express interest to begin an activity by raising his hands and wait for his turn<br><strong>Rationale</strong>: Expose to child that&nbsp; there are different category of animals (e.g.: farm animal, sea creature, pets etc) since he likes animals so much.<br><strong>Activity: <br></strong><em>(Materials: Animal word+visual card, Magnets, whiteboard and Markers)</em><strong><br>1)</strong>Teacher will place visual cards into a tray filled with distractors (foam balls &amp; animals figurines ).<br>2) Child will raise hand to express interest in doing the activity when teacher ask "who wants to go first?" and will only proceed to do the activity when teacher calls him.<br>3) Teacher will hold the tray and child will pick a visual card from the tray and past it on the whiteboard.&nbsp;<br>4) Child will then read the animal name of the card they picked and with the magnets try to form it.<br>5) Child will then take marker and write the word he formed.<br>(e.g.: the child picked a this "fish" visual card, and will for the word "fish" then with a maker write the "fish" on the whiteboard.)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Topic:</strong> Animals <br><strong>Concept:</strong> Child will be able to relate to others during story time<br><strong>Objective: <br>1.</strong>Child will produce /s/ sound in words initial and final position (e.g.: horse, see, this etc.)<br>2.Child will use at least 2-word phrase when answering questions or making comments (e.g.: see horse, say hello, this one etc.) <br>3. Child will sequence the story that was told to him using "first", "then" and "last".<br><strong>Rationale</strong>: Child loves listen to stories and like animals related activity<br><strong>Activity: <br></strong><em>(Materials: Story book - brown bear, brown bear what do you see?, animal character visual)<br></em>1) Teacher will show children the book and ask them to comment what they see<br>2)Teacher will tell the story and at each animal character teacher will call a child up to put the visual on the board.<br>3) After story is told, teacher will ask children a few questions related to the book (e.g.: what animals did you see? what animal came first?          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Topic:</strong>  The Farm<br><strong>Concept:</strong> Child will be able explore and interact with material during sensory play<br><strong>Objective: <br>1.</strong> Child will be able express interest to begin an activity by raising his hands and wait for his turn<br>2.Child will be able to recognise number from 1 to 15 by naming the number and able to perform action to its quantity. <br><strong>Rationale</strong>: Child loves the song "old MacDonald had a farm" <br><strong>Activity: <br></strong><em>(Materials: Latex Glove containing mixture of water and flour, tray to catch the water,  draw string bag &amp; numbers card from 1 to 15)</em><strong><br>1) </strong>Teacher will fill the latex glove with mixture of (water + flour) the set up a few “milking station” by placing the filled up latex gloves to the back of the chair with a A3 cow picture and position tray under the glove. <br>2)Teacher will ask the class who wants to go first and child will be able express interest to begin an activity by raising his/her hands.<br>3) Child will first draw a number card from the draw-string bag and show it to the class and name the number on the card (e.g: "The number is four"). Then the child will proceed to the milking station and squeeze the latex glove the number of time stated on the number card.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Topic:</strong> Farm animal<br><strong>Concept:</strong> Child will be able to participate in physical/fine play activity during OT session<br><strong>Objective: <br>1.</strong> Child will carry out 3-4 steps action (e.g.: hop the the tray, take animal from the tray, crawl to the wall pick out the corresponding word card and string the animal name out with the alphabet beads)<br>2. Child will express his feelings by saying "I am scared; I am tired" for activities that make him uncomfortable<br>3. Child will be able express interest to begin an activity by raising his hands and wait for his turn<br>4. Child will follow direction/ point or show/label targeted words (e.g.: Strawberry, cut, spread, triangle, circle, wipe, take, throw, big, small etc.)<br>2. Child will use verbs and nouns to comment or answer questi<strong>ons<br>Activity: <br></strong><em>(Materials: M&amp;N (Big &amp; Small), Strawberry, Bagel, Wipe Cream, Knife, Plate, Bowl)<br>1. </em> Teacher will demonstrate to the class how to make the pig bagel.<br>2. Child will use knife to cut the Strawberry in slice (circle) and in triangle <br>3. Child will p<em>lace bagel on the plate</em> and spread wipe cream on the bagel <br>4. Child will then place strawberry at two corner of the bread and the center (ears &amp; part of the nose),  M&amp;N (big and small) in the center of the bread (eyes &amp; nose) – as seen in the picture <br>5. After activity is done, Children will clean up, wipe the table and throw tissue/ washcloth after the end of the activity. </div>]]></description>
