         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>European Youth Portal</strong></div><div>The European Youth Portal offers information and contacts on a wide range of topics targeted at young European citizens - among others you can find info on working abroad, volunteering, your rights, trainings and traineeships. The level of coverage of the different EU countries varies, but since it is worked on constantly you should check now and then.</div><div><a href="https://europa.eu/youth/EU_en">https://europa.eu/youth/EU_en</a></div><div><a href="https://www.facebook.com/EuropeanYouthPortal?fref=ts">https://www.facebook.com/EuropeanYouthPortal?fref=ts</a></div><div><br></div><div><strong>EURODESK</strong></div><div>EURODESK runs a database full of European funding programs concerning education, training and youth. You can find especially possibilities for group activities and higher education. The database also contains internships, work placements and competitions.</div><div><a href="http://www.eurodesk.org">www.eurodesk.org</a></div><div><a href="https://www.facebook.com/Eurodesk">https://www.facebook.com/Eurodesk</a></div><div><br></div><div><strong>ERASMUS+</strong></div><div>ERASMUS+ is the new EU program for education, training, youth and sport which runs from 2014 to 2020 and offers several mobility opportunities for young people e.g. European Voluntary Service, studying abroad, vocational training, youth exchange,..</div><div><a href="http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/index_en.htm">http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/index_en.htm</a></div><div><a href="https://www.facebook.com/EUErasmusPlusProgramme">https://www.facebook.com/EUErasmusPlusProgramme</a></div><div><br></div><div><strong>EURES</strong></div><div>EURES is the “European Job Agency” - they are specialised and helping to find jobs aborad. Even though normaly focusing more on the high level sector, initiatives like “Your first EURES job” do exist and are worth a look. EURES also offers information on e.g. costs of living and job application procedures in other EU countries.</div><div><a href="https://ec.europa.eu/eures/">https://ec.europa.eu/eures/</a></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Scholarships</strong></div><div>On this portal you can find scholarships from highschool-level up to PhD.</div><div><a href="http://www.scholarshipportal.eu/#basic">http://www.scholarshipportal.eu</a></div><div><br></div><div>Especially the European Youth Portal (but e.g. also the facebook-pages of Eurodesk and Erasmus+) offer you a wide range of further portals on the different topics - here only some examples of useful sites:</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Volunteering</strong>:</div><div>Global Volunteer Network <a href="http://www.globalvolunteernetwork.org/">www.globalvolunteernetwork.org</a></div><div>Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms <a href="http://www.wwoof.net/">http://www.wwoof.net</a></div><div>Service Civil International <a href="http://www.sciint.org/">www.sciint.org</a></div><div>and many many more -  be sure to get an overview, check out also national sites and compile an extensive list for your country.
