3.) Louisiana's ELA goal is for students to be able to read, comprehend, and express understanding of complex grade level texts. These criteria align with that expectation.

I loved the additional requirements that said "science materials should complement grade level math instruction." Students start to see that their learning across contents builds on each other. This prepares them for life outside of the classroom.
