    1) Reuse rise water from washing machine to flush the toilet or mop the floor
    2) keep car washing to minimum. Use a bucket, not a running hose.
    3) Water plants in the early morning or late eveing (before 7am or after 7pm) to reduce evaporation losses. 
    4) Keep non-essential usage such as general washing to a minimum.
