He works on his cases uncontrollably and his eye for detail is amazing. If he is not working, he gets depressed. He knows a lot about music, plays and in his free time he does chemistry experiments. He was detective for 23 years and retired in the Sussex Downs shortly before 1904. Professor Challenger is an aggressive, hot-tempered, dominating figure. He was very big in size. His head was enormous, he had a big black beard and his eyes were blue-grey.

He is very well liked by the ladies and is by far the most entertaining character created by Arthur Conan Doyle. In the stories, Napoléon sends him on horrendously dangerous missions certain that his Brigadier will be made prisoner and surrender the documents he was entrusted with. However, Gerard is so brave and so lucky, that he beats all the odds. Adler was born in New Jersey in the 1850. She had a successful career as an opera singer in Europe. During her career at the Royal Opera of Warsaw, she meets and becomes the lover of the King of Bohemia. After ending her relationship with the King, she settles in London and retires from singing. In the stories, she is sometimes shown as the love interest of Sherlock Holmes or a master thief.

He was wounded at the Battle of Marwan in July 1880 by a bullet to the shoulder. After recovering from his injury, he returned to England. He becomes Sherlock Holmes’ friend. He has a wife, but we never learn her name or meet her. John Watson is an intelligent man. He was a mathematical and scientific genius, having studied at university and having his work globally acclaimed. Moriarty, unfortunately, possessed a lust for power that led to criminal activities.
