At times that can be difficult because there is a language barrier. The great thing is that technology has become so advanced that now I can communicate with these parents and they can feel comfortable communicating with me. This is a misconception. Often times the parents just don't know how to communicate with their child's teacher. As educators, we need to take the time to share tools that can help these parents communicate and we need to reach out to them.
