In many folk tales and myths, multiple people had been accused of or claimed themselves to be werewolves. These "claims" and "accusations" have done nothing but only lead to their own damnation. And yet, despite the harsh punishments and consequences that are inflicted upon them, society continues to follow the same path even today.
I have known about the Werewolf of Bedburg for a long time. However, reading this article about the tale has become beneficial in understanding more about the subject and the relation to the topic being discussed. When reading the backstory about Peter Stubbe, he ended up claiming the devil gave him powers. This claim was one of the few that caused his own destruction. 
 The creator of the selection uses dramatic text to explain the facts that this man was a monster and far from humane. They use words such as "monster" or "unimaginable nightmare" and even "a diabolical creature" to express a strong sense of morbidity to this man. The creator also includes the monstrosities that Peter had inflicted among the people of Bedburg. This only heightened the point that the story of Peter Stubbe is the most horrific story of all.

Even though we are entitled to these rights, there are people who abuse this freedom. There is a lack of maturity in the way people use their freedom of speech. In this case, two people abuse their rights by disrespecting others through the confederate flag. Their decisions have led to punishment for their offense. 
Reading the article has helped me understand more about the lack of stability society has today in their decisions and self control. They act immaturely, leading themselves to consequences they were too naïve to be aware of. The fact that the two people guilty of the offense had acted in a threatening and disrespectful way only proves my statement. People are entitled to the freedom of speech; the pair fly the confederate flag announcing racial slurs. They abuse the right through disrespect, and in the end they are punished.
The creator of the article uses facts and historical context to get their point across. They inform the reader of the status of the pair and their sentences in jail and confirming statements made from officials. They then include an incident prior to the two people that was relatable in subject matter; a mass shooting with another representation of the confederate flag. Last, they inform the readers briefly on the confederate flag history and what it represents.

People create false claims for many reasons ranging from gaining attention to protecting themselves from something. Paul Nuttall, a British politician, made a false claim to "losing a close personal friend" at the Hillsborough Disaster, a deadly human crush at Hillsborough football stadium in Sheffield, England. When confronted, he claims he lost someone he knew, not someone close to him. His body language proved that he was lying about something and he even took down his site that he posted his statement on. His actions have only led to his own downfall. 
Viewing the video has helped me be able to see the way people act in account to being confronted for their actions. Studying the body language a person gives due to confrontations shows key signs that they were lying. Movements like fidgeting, tapping, and even lunging yourself toward the person as if you are trying to reassure them that you're correct can be possible signs of falseness. Seeing the way people act toward certain situations can explain a lot. Not only is there to be documented information of their claims, but there is the visual aid in understanding the truth of what others say.
The creator got their view across by visually "exposing" the claimer. He confronts Paul Nuttall about his claim on his website, not only obtaining through video but audio evidence as well. These two factors are important to evidence as it gives the words that the person says but their body language through it as well. Lady Liberty represents our freedom, therefore the image represents the destruction of that freedom. People abuse their freedom if speech and therefore, society crumbles.  Everything  that liberty stands for is tainted by the foolish choices society makes.
Viewing this piece of work has helped me visualize the topic in depth. The image of the fallen statue of liberty has helped me have a more visual thought of the topic. 
The creator of the artwork uses warm colors like a fire to resemble destruction and the water is sinking the statue. The tattered statue represents the erosion and instability in maturity of our freedom. All together it expresses the chaos and downfall of our societies choices.
