And in "Molly Lou melon"   the grandmother gives good to. You could say that the grandmothers give good advice.  Or that if you are different that is okay because if we were all the same you would never have fun. And in both stories there is one bully every one else is amazed  that they have all these  amazing talents  like stacking pennies on your teeth or drawing  it doesn't mater what talent you have  it just matters if you like it if your short that is okay and if are not the best reader and the only one can deside what speed you go at is you!
