Why was mimosa chosen as the flower that represents womwn?

The mimosa was also the symbol of women's struggle, mobilised for their rights, first and foremost the right to vote. this is why this flower was chosen.

Somtims a women is paid less than a man, she is given easier jobs... but why? Maybe she is less strong than a men, she dosen't work enough; and yet a woman puts in the same effort as a man, in fact probably sometimes she puts in more effort.

This goal of the 2030 Agenda is very important!

This goal tells us that: even today in some countries, women are forced to marry when are still children. Moreover it also tells us about Female Genital Mutilation. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a procedure that consist in the partial or total removal of the external female genitalia for non medical reasons. Every year, more than 3 million African girls are forced to undergo one of the various forms of genital mutilation, which is still practiced in over 30 countries around the world.
