I think alligators are one of the coolest predators in the world

At the moment they are at risk of being endangered.

I do enjoy this animal and I hope I can see it one day in the foothills.

Name of the Animal: Sulawesi Babirusa

Type of Animal: Mammal

Where It Lives in the Wild: Native to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia

What It Eats: Roots, fruits, tubers, berries, insects, fish, and even small mammals

Conservation Status: Vulnerable

Thoughts:

I find the babirusa cool because of its tusks curve backward like antlers, which is why its name means "pig-deer." It’s also cool how it uses its snout to dig for food. Seeing it in person made me see how unique and rare it is.

Elephant are herbivore mammals and lives in Africa. They are at risk😱😱😱. I found it interesting at how silly they can be🥶🥶

Roti Island Snake-Necked Turtle

It’s a cool turtle with a freakishly long neck, never knew it existed.

- Lives in the wild in India, Sri Lanka and parts of Nepal in the forests and grassland.

- It eats insects like termites and ants also fruits.

- Sloth Bears look really nice and there fur around there neck is kinda cool.

My thoughts about the Nubian goat is that it’s very calm and friendly,I thought that they wouldn’t let us touch them.

Type of animal: Mammal (it’s a type of gibbon, which is an ape)

The siamang is found in the wild in Southeast Asia , mainly in Malaysia, Thailand, and the island of Sumatra in Indonesia.

It eats mostly fruits, leaves, and flowers, but sometimes also eats insects.

Endangered, mostly due to habitat loss and illegal pet trade.

I think the siamang is fascinating because of its loud, echoing calls that can be heard from miles away. It also has a special throat pouch that helps it make these powerful sounds, which it uses to communicate and mark its territory.

Animal: Chacoan Peccary

The Chacoan Peccary lives in the dry forests and scrublands of South America, mostly in Paraguay

It eats cactus, roots, fruits, and plants. It uses its strong snout to break open cactus and eat the juicy inside without getting poked too much by the spines.

It’s listed as Endangered because its habitat is being destroyed for farming

I think the Chacoan Peccary is a really interesting animal because it was once thought to be extinct until it was found again in the 1970s

My thoughts about it is interesting it’s my first time seeing a Malayan Tiger before. It find it interesting is that they hunt, sleep, unique color.

Where it lives in the Wild: Indigo snakes are native to the southeastern United States mostly in Florida and Georgia.

What It Eats: They eat other snakes (including venomous ones too), frogs, small mammals, and birds.

Conservation Status: Threatened mainly due to habitat loss and human activity.

My Thoughts: I think the indigo snake is really interesting because of its shiny black scales and the fact that it’s nonvenomous but still strong enough to eat other snakes. It’s also cool that it eats other snakes

What I found interesting about the Colobus Monkey was that they can leap up to 20 feet across trees and they have no thumbs

5. What I find particularly interesting about emus is that they're the second-tallest bird species on Earth, only behind ostriches. Plus, they can really move, reaching speeds of up to 31 miles per hour!

American flamingos live in the Caribbean, northern South America, and parts of the Galápagos Island.

Their diet consists of small creatures like tiny crustaceans and algae from the water.

American flamingos are safe, their population is large and may even be increasing.

I think it’s cool how flamingos get their pink color from the food they eat.
