"This book has pores." Page 79
I think this is a noteworthy quote because I have never thought of a book having pores for the contents inside. This helps me connect more with Faber and Montag about books. Do you think pores can get deeper or covered depending on the contents in a book?

"You always said, don't face a problem, burn it." Page 115
This is a noteworthy quote because it almost seems like the theme of the entire book. In this society they burn books because they don't want to have to deal with reality and the dirtiness of words. Do you agree?

There are three main characters in the book but I'm going to analyze Shane. He is 15 years old and he is gay. He has a best friend named Tara and a sister with special needs. His mom takes care of his sister and her marriage is falling apart. Shane smokes weed and watches porn in his free time. He also met someone online who we know has a secret but Shane doesn't know. I think Shane will find out the truth and not care. I also think his sister will pass and it will either tear his family apart or bring them closer than ever.

The book I am reading is "Tilt" by Ellen Hopkins. It is about three teenagers who's family is falling apart. I picked it because I have read almost every book by Ellen Hopkins and want to continue to do so. The most interesting thing is Shane admitting to his mom he was smoking weed and watching gay porn by letting her walk in on him.

Mikayla has a boyfriend who she loves but got busted at a party. Her titty was out and one of her uncles cop friends saw it. Her parents grounded her from all communication with Dylan (her boyfriend). Her dad gets salty because she tries to help her mom find her biological parents. Then Mikayla sneaks out and has sex with Dylan at his friends house who is in love with Mikayla.
