Both of them are placed close to each other, It is convenient for learners make a connection between the texts and animation. I think this design could help English spoken Cantonese students understand how vocabulary is used in the relevant context better, because on-screen text near rather than far from corresponding animation Mayer (2002) can more effectively help English Cantonese learners recognize both the animation and the text.
