         <description><![CDATA[<div>Atticus' occupation was a lawyer, which is usually viewed as a well paid job. However, during this time period people were very poor and weren't able to pay for the assistance they need. Even though Atticus wasn't paid properly for his duties, he helps Tom Robinson to the best of his abilities which shows he is a man with a kind heart and is very fair in his willingness to help anyone. </div>]]></description>
