How can we create learning environments where people can get thins wrong?

Creating a an envrioment where people aren't "Punished" for being wrong but instead can answer and get a question. Also showing that you just don't know everything is also a great way to do it. Just a supportive and relaxed learning enviroment. Taking insparation from "Yes. And" in improv

Are there any practical things you think we can do as media educators?

Actively sending them open ended creative questions and answers. Making short films and stuff. Such as with a simple "five by five"

Or giving a "Make a script about a journey" or something like that

Add your post with any answers/ examples (include your name as a heading)

I think having a relaxed environment is key, I also have seen that within media specifically a small amount of camaraderie and sarcasm works incredibly well with a lot of students. Having the willingness to talk to them about subjects they're passionate about and to comment on their work with a compliment sandwich... I've found that works well! - Charlotte
