You will:

The learner will:

63.4 Understand how three-phase supply systems may be operated and utilised in relation to engineering applications, to include the use of electrical relationships to calculate values of voltage, current and power in three-phase circuits; determine parameters and perform measurements for three-phase loads (balanced and unbalanced);

63.5 Understand the operation of electrical motors, to include wound rotor and squirrel cage three-phase induction motors and three phase synchronous and synchronous-induction motors;

63.6 Understand industrial applications of motor starters and control gear and understand how three-phase motors are installed, commissioned and maintained;
