Yes, employers are more interested with skills & values nowadays. For example, when the employer is planning to hire someone, given that candidate 1 is extremely academically inclined while candidate 2 does decent in their academics but has lots of experience in working or have the practical skills, it is more likely that the employer will choose candidate 2 as they have more skills which may come in handy and it also shows that candidate 2 is able to do more things than candidate 1 who has little to no experience. But with that being said, it does not mean that qualifications are not important, they still are but it is better to have a balance of skills (experience) & academics. Idk lol just an opinion

No definitely not. qualifications are in fact much more important nowadays when looked at in contrast to current contexts where unemployment is spiking up in an aggressive uphill. Qualifications would be the ones that would make you shine from the crowd and elevate you to opportunities that could have been overlooked if you do not meet requirements of such opportunities in the relevant qualifications. Qualifications, especially and most importantly educational ones, shape the start of your working life as it primarily determines which doors you get to walk through at the very beginning, from which you start climbing up from to gain experience and increase your achievements. Qualifications are never to be seen as less important and in fact is and ever will be the most important determining factor that would shape and impact an individual’s life.

No, it is still very important today. A qualification like degree still comes before work experience. I have searched about company's hiring requirements, most of the jobs clearly states that at least a university degree is needed, some even need a master degree to apply for the job, but none of the jobs' require a work experience or any skills. So I think qualification is still important.

Yes. More and more companies are looking past paper qualifications today to review potential hires' skills and personal qualities. Some companies do not list academic qualifications under job requirements anymore as they are now focusing on other qualities of potential hires. Although academic qualifications are still useful and helpful when job hunting, they are becoming more of a side assessment for employers.

I feel that qualifications are still rather quite important. most good income jobs require one to have a diploma or a university degree. Furthermore, during interviews you are judged based off of qualities that the employers are looking for such as being able to adapt quickly, responsible, flexibility in your schedule & most importantly, your punctuality. Most jobs don’t just accept everyone and anyone that would like to work in their company, some companies require their employees to have work experience for 3-5 years as most employers would like to have an employees to not take a long time to adjust which is highly likely if it’s one’s first time getting a job which may be inconvenient. So i believe that qualifications are still important today and are still being enforced.
