I chose this video because one of the best school hacks to do good is to stay motivated. Motivation is easily lost and people should know how to keep it up. This video gives the correct information on what to do and how to keep it up. He provides five simple habits to start that seem to be easy enough. I like how he doesn't give harsh tips and instead gives ones that are easy to do regularly. My favorite was knowing when to quit. I took a liken to this one as I have experienced a deep loss of motivation from being overwhelmed and shoving all my work into one spot in my brain.

Personally, being overwhelmed makes me want to hide in my blankets and hope the stress goes away. Being overwhelmed can cause stress and that can cause a loss in motivation. You tend to feel like everything is too much so you just don't do it at all. This video helps with learning how to not feel that way. He gives six tips on how to stop yourself from being overwhelmed, two of which are my favorite. He talks about learning how to say no. This is one of my favorites as I feel many of us lack this. We can have 5 assignments to finish and take on something else in fear of saying no. This isn't healthy, whether you feel like you can do it or not. Reestablishing your Routine is also a good tip. You can often lose yourself in a flood of work and personal life. You may just being doing things you can reach and that can cause you to feel everywhere.

Originally, I chose this video as I felt like there are going to be times when you just can't motivate yourself and you feel trapped. I thought this video would give some internal tips that can help you. However, when I watched it, I felt like it didn't help as much as I thought it would. He gives two answers, learning the consequences of not studying and building systems. I feel like these are kind of do it or don't answers. From someone who has felt like this, this would not help me. I would understand what could happen if I did not study but I just could not bring myself to do it. So overall I don't think this is the best video to watch for this and if you truly can gain motivation you should instead talk to someone, like a therapist or counselor, or ask for help.

This article fits with the videos as it talks about keeping up with motivation and how to. I like how the author shows how they relate and understand to that feeling of not wanting to do anything. They notice how it is hard to keep up with. The advice they give also is well said. It aligns with you and not the work you do.
