STEM is a super vow factor to culminate the need of future jobs as well as to take learning to the peak of innovation and discovery! It provides teens with a new perspective on the nature of science and a picture of scientists as real people leading interesting lives. The program is rich—and fun—complement to the science they learn in the classroom. The opportunities to meet and interact with scientists in a fun and informal setting designed to inspire conversation and interaction. Students’ interact with inquiry and innovation-driven activities grounded in standards-based content. STEM features three interconnected classes on a specific science, engineering or pedagogical theme that:

· Engaging, hands-on learning

· Share new, standards-based activities, skills and technologies

· Develop inquiry, innovation, engineering design and/or science process skills

I definitely am looking forward to implement and introduce Science Café to prep the potential of my super passionate bubbly PYP learners!

The Teen Cafè initiative of Malta is very interesting and certainly impacting in schools. To be considered from the lowest levels of school. Surely planning and organization will require a lot of effort, but we can think about sharing roles and responsibilities in the context of all the members of the technical-scientific department of schools.

I think it is a wonderful application. The disadvantage of this is that it requires a lot of effort and technical skills but, in fact, it is not impossible. A little time and effort will be the clue to apply it. Students will also be pleased with interacting with the scientist in a known area.

It is an incredibly interesting experience. I was amazed to see that kids change their preferences for STEM subjects which is pretty complicated. I know a cycle of conferences about Science called NAUKAS that is an open event for people in general and it is very successful. I am thinking of creating a similar event in my school next year. Maybe something little to see how it goes. I do not know where to find the fundings or the budget.

I haven't organised Teen Science Cafe, but now I'm very Keen on doing so!
I have organised career fares, inviting representatives of different European and American Universities for the students seeking career guidance post their IBDP when I was heading a continuum I B school.

Teen Science Café has been a very nice and effective method of study. I introduced the Stem professions to the students at my school and invited some professionals to make my students knowledgeable about these professions. However, these studies are not continuous and it is not always possible to bring professional staff to the school. A science cafe, as seen in the video seems to be very intriguing. The high level of human interaction with the accomplished professionals make it most interesting. I have never actually seen a science cafe but our community college has held what we call job fairs in order to allow students and the wider youth community to explore career options as they look to take on life's journey after school. THis science cafe definitely has piqued my interest in planning one in the future.

My opinion is that, among the many types of STEM career inductions, this form of organization offers several advantages: direct encounters with experts in different fields, the possibility of direct interaction between students and experts. The Teen Science Cafè is amazing! I think there is no better way to make STEM careers interesting; this approach is most likely suitable for students of all levels and can be integrated with STEM careers fairs; I think it does not take many people to organize these events but, as remembered in the video, only a good organization of dates and the availability of professionals. In my areas I have never heard of something like this and at the moment I do not think there will be many opportunities for such initiatives, but it is a wonderful idea to keep in the drawer for the future.

In my city, the County Police organize every year an event like this and different professionals working in the police force present their work activities to groups of students. In my school it was organized an event like this last year. At this event there were invited dentists. They spoke about their work and how somebody could work in this field. The teen sci cafe sounds like a fabulous idea to engage students and spark their inters in science. I think the most interesting part is how they have turned basic careers into an interesting stem/ science career to incorporate into the cafe. Teen Science Cafe expreince is a very nice organization to meet STEM professionals and students. The concept of cafe in lovely, we always meet new people at cafes. The most interesting part is the informal environment shared by students and professionals. By this way, students will be more involved and they will not hesitate to ask their questions directly. We have some similar event in our school. I work at a vocaional high school, we have an organisation for middle school students that may choose to come our school. The students are introduced with our vocaional departments and they meet with our teachers. As I watch the video above, that reminded me our organisation. Their dynamic manner, which enables involving two-way interactions between scientists and students makes science cafes interesting and engaging.At our school we had something similar.We called the event "Reading Benches",which we put five benches in the shape of square and a chair in the middle in our schhol garden.We invited five Children's book authors who sat on the chairs and three students on each bench.They read some passages from their books and talk about their books,literature and answered the students books.

I loved the idea so much. The most interesting aspect is that the teens love cafes but chatting there. the idea of talking science in cafes makes science more lovely to them. In the universities and some lucky schools of my country there are some clubs similar to the cafe. I can organize a cafe like that but at first I must find a place for it which is very difficult in our schools because all the rooms are used and lots of rooms are necessary for other purposes.
