Based on what I’ve learned today, I’d see Andrew Jackson as a Villain. One reason for my claim is the Trail of Tears. This started from the court case Worcester V. Georgia when the Supreme Court judges allowed the Cherokee to stay. Either way, Jackson forcefully sent the tribe on a trail where eventually 3000 or more Cherokee people would die. He completely violated the checks and balances principle, proving he abused his power in office.

Sure he did multiple good deeds such as hanging the democracy and allowing commoners to be in the government more but later on with how he forced Native Americans out of their land unlawfully, it turns him as a villain because 3,000 Natives died on the Trail of Tears and also went against Checks and Balances even though the Cherokee had the rights to stay in their lands.
