The San Antonio Spurs had Stephen curry in mind when they signed JOnathan Simmons, a prototype of an NBA player from the late 1990s, early 2000s. Simmons is a six-foot-six 195 pound. In the past the San Antonio Spurs had used point guard Cory Joseph to guard curry, because of his quickness. Later on the Warriors hosted the Spurs on January 25, 2016, the first showdown where Curry had the Warriors of to a 40-4 start and the Spurs, at a 38-6 record. This game meant a lot to Simmons, therefore shutting down Curry was the kind of performance that could catapult his career. And for the first thirty-one minutes of the game neither Parker, his backup Patty Mills, nor Kawhi Leonard, the reigning Defensive Player of the year, had much luck slowing Curry down

Steph Curry's mother Sonya moved the whole family to Canada to spend a year with their father, Dell Curry as he played his final NBA season with the Toronto Raptors. Sonya couldn't find a Montessori school in Toronto, so she opted one for one of hte only Christian schools, nearby, Queensway Christian College. James Lackey, the Queensway Christian College basketball coach. There were no tryouts at the school, because it was so small it could take any players it needed. Later on a practice day Coach Lackey rolls the balls out on the first practice and tells the kids to warm up. He closely watched the two NBA player's sons Steph Curry and Seth Curry and said "The eldest Curry stood out immediately. As is the case before every NBA game now, Steph's warm-up was a show. Crossovers, net-splashing jumpers, advanced footwork as he practiced certain shots."

When Curry hit seventh grade, he transferred to Charlotte Christian. He played for the middle school team, that's when he met Shonn Brown, the high school coach. Coach Shonn said "He Could shoot the ball, but he was really small, Brown said. The way he handled the ball. The way he moved on the court. The way he shot it. You could just tell he had been around basketball." Nevertheless Queensway was not a wasn't a great basketball team, therefore it had a bunch of short players tossing the ball around, learning the intangibles of teamwork and adversity more than honing their hoop skills. But with Curry on the ream, Queensway was suddenly winning by 40 and 50 points each game.

Not only did Steph Curry plau basketball in his middle school years he also played floor hocker, indoor soccer, and volleyball, and then basketball season rolled aorund. In addition James Lackery, the Queensway Christian College basketball coach, said of steph during his time there. "He said a few words. Real Quite. Friendly. Personal." In addition the coach talks about how one game they Queensway middle school basketball team was down 6 and there was barely any time left so the coach called a timeout to prepare his team for a lose. Neverthless, in the huddle Steph Curry usually a quite guy that listens to everything stood up and said "Coach give me the ball" his exact words. So the coach decided to give the steph the ball and just like always steph did his magic by tying the game up with two quick three pointer and hitting another one for the game winner.

Some player would look at the Curry brithers and think nothing og them, they would just reconize they were the offspring of an NBA player and look to make an example of them. Neverthless on several occasions, Curry would enrage his opponent with his shot-making. They couldn't stop him, so the hater would want to fight. Luckily the curry brothers has their cousin with them who was considered to be "huge" said by Seth curry himself which made the kids runaway. In addition, people used to say that Steph was a giant toddler with his uniform draped off him and he looked more like a kid dressed uo as a basketball player for Haloween than an actual player.

To be honest there really is no way to stop Step Curry in the NBA know because of his dominance. But back when Steph Curry was young Greensboro Day would use a strategy the NBA will eventually develop. The strategy in this case for Greensboro Day was "Johnny Thomas a junior small forward who was six-foot-six and had the kind of althleticism Curry lacker which drew the assigement of defending curry. Thomas shadowed Curry everywhere, denying him the ball and using his size to frustrate the Charlotte Christian star. Curry had just 8 points as Greensboro Day pulled out the champion shop." Curry didn't have the strength didn't have the strength back then but Thomas got to knwo the fight inside of Curry's undeveloped body. "He was tough" said Thomas, who is know a Harlem Globetrotter dubbed Hawk, "He didn't back down."

As years went by Curry was developing and getting better at the game of basketball he would do so good in games sometimes or just go off he would be called the Baby Faced Assassin. The persona grew in the 2008 NCAA tournament. As a sophomore, Curry took over in the second half of a first round game against a seventh seed team Gonzaga. He scored 30 of his 40 points to lead the no.10 Davidson in the upset. Nevertheless he hit the game winning w with a minute left and pointed to his parents in the crowd as he backpedaled on defense.
