Short after birth he was put up for adoption. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. He was put up for adoption by his biological parents, Abdulfattah Jandali and Joanne Schieble. They put him up because they didn't have enough money to take care of him.  Later he attended Reed collage. Eventually he got in. Later in college he met someone named Steve Wozniak. In 1976 they formed apple in his parents garage.
