I would usually take a walk around the neighborhood for a while then proceed back home to wait for my grandchildren to arrive at my house. While waiting, I would cook good food for them. After my daughter brings my grandchildren back to her house I would usually go out with my husband. However, every weekend, my family and I would meet up and go out to spend time.

Taking to bus to Changi, then to Bedok. Takes around 1.5 hours, sometime 3 hours, to pass time. Sitting on top of the double decker bus, which a lot of people do it nowadays. I do this so I won’t get memory loss, to stay active.

Mostly I spend time with my beloved grandchildren as they want to play playground or void decks. Sometimes i walk around alone or go market. But i try not to go in the afternoon, it can be very hot lah.

It can be very dirty. Have you seen it? The lighting is not good also. Sometimes when I bring my grandchildren downstairs, I get concerned as they like to run around as you know how kid are lah. Also, it is very hot...You can feel the hot circulating during noon time. I always have to make sure that i bring a water bottle with me to cool down. The communal areas have nice facilities like the exercise machines also. But i prefer taking walks lah.

I think I've said before lah. Nowadays it is very hot , sometimes the fans are not even working and when i sitdown to see my grandchildren to play around it is very hot . It can be very frustrating. The ceiling fans are not on. Sometimes the wall hangs can’t be used. I’ve tried before. It will only be available at a certain timing usually 3 to 5pm. Why is it there if we can't even use?

The multi-purpose hall and the line dance have fans. Only when we have activities then we ask them to do it. The organisers of the town council will do it, which is good, it’s energy saving.

Fans and Cleanliness. Sometimes there’s a lot of rubbish and it can be smelly. This is very important. I don't want pests crawling around. People need to be more mindful of their living spaces. I would bring my grandchildren to other areas if the nearby one is dirty and hot. Maybe the shopping mall to walk around, the hot air can be suffocating..You know?

No, you're using up energy. I don't agree. Let's say it requires permission. Also like how if they were to replace the fans with a cooling system, better cooling system, Maybe something like an air cooler, something like a cooler. That would be good.

I spend most of my days working as a grab driver. If i have the time, i would hang out at the void deck or the coffee shop nearby. I play with my dear grandchildren whenever they visit ya.. They are always full of energy. Need to get out of the house to play.

I experienced both. Sometimes when it rains, it can be quite nice but I try not to stay for too long as it can get windy, and the rain will splatter. It is just very hot and not the best experience to come home sweaty after hanging out with friends.

Communal areas? They're not good places to hang out lah... So hot and humid like this...It is best to stay home. So much more comfortable.

There are portable fans. Those standing ones can be found too. But these fans would circulate hot air around. It feels like being in an oven sometimes. I’m grateful for the occasional wind. The government may put fans, but it’s not in use most of the time and difficult to have access to it.
