I miss you all so so much!! 

I really must say that teaching in your class this year has shown me that my favourite grade to teach is grade 4! You all have blown me away with all of the work you have completed and all of your fun personalities! You're all responsible, creative and intelligent! Each and everyone one of you have a huge place in my heart. I showed my family the book you all made for me and was incredibly proud to tell them something about all of you like something funny we laughed about together or some of your work I was proud of you for. Noah, I'm sorry to say (I don't want to embarrass you more but...)  I told all of my family and my friends about the Ed Sheeran concert... it has to be one of my favourite teaching memories. I will come to your wedding one day just to make a speech and share that story! We all laughed! 

I have to tell you that I am only leaving because I have to, not because I want to! It's my turn now to go back to my classes at Bishop's University and be the student again! Just like you guys!! Even when we grow up and become adults we still have many things to learn. 

I hope you all had a great weekend! I always love hearing about what you have been up to outside of school. I spent time with my mom and my little brother's girlfriend (she's like a little sister to me). I went to the mall and walked my dogs (Sushi and Wasabi). My dad was gone to a hockey tournament in Syracuse in New York. His team won the championship!! I talked to my little brother, Brady, who goes to university in Rochester, New York. He plays lacrosse there. They had been on the road playing in Philedalphia and in Long Island. Although he scored some goals, he said they lost both games and didn't play as a team as well as they could have. 

I would like to share a special message with you, something that my dad has always told me and that has always encouraged me:

"Play with confidence and determination." 

To me it means 2 things: 
Firstly, no matter what you choose to do in life, do it with self-confidence. Be proud of yourself, believe in yourself and trust yourself. Know that you CAN and you WILL accomplish whatever you put your mind to. 
Secondly, achieve your goals and your dreams with determination. To be determined is to be motivated, focused and unstoppable. Don't let anyone or anything distract you! When you've set a goal, get yourself on the war path and get to work! No matter the obstacles, no matter the difficulties: you ARE determined and you ARE strong so you will keep working and you WILL achieve your goals. 

Always remember that when things get tough, you will always have Ms Martin and Mrs Gagné in your corner cheering you on. 

Keep on hustling, keep on working, keep on being awesome!!
