#1 The GDP of Malawi was $22.42 Billion in 2017. This number is measured by the Purchasing Power Parity or PPP. This is the final value of all goods and services that a nation produces during a given year valued at the United States Dollar. Although this number seems high, Malawi's GDP is ranked the 145th lowest out of 229 countries/territories. This makes Malawi a relatively poor country when compared to others.

#2 The main exports from Malawi in 2015 were tobacco (55%), dried legumes (8.8%), and sugar (6.7%).
The picture below is a scene from a trading center in Malawi.

#1 In Malawi There is a subtropical climate. There is a rainy season and a dry season.

#2 In Malawi floods, droughts, and Earth quakes are very common. Especially the droughts because when its dry season it doesn't rain a lot.
The image below just shows you how tough it would be to try and farm and grow crops as well as finding fresh drinking water.
