Our very first project was a photo collage describing our selves using magazine pieces. one reacuring piece would've been using dark colors and the sweet treats I had included. One adjective to describe my art work would be very boyish as I include cologne and dark colors. This artwork contained a lot of pieces describing how I saw myself liking, and I had continued this theme in all of my artworks going forward

JANUARY

Digital Self-portrait

created on Adobe express, I had made a digital self portrait using AI to alter a young picture of myself. I had included other art work from other different artists such as Grant Wood and his art work of the boy in the pajamas and The Great Wave of Kanagawa art piece by Hokusai. I would describe this art work as very diverse as I am including many pieces from different art work. One recurring theme I had in this art piece was that I incorporated myself into the art work as I had mentioned it previously

FEBRUARY

Surrealist Photomontage

using Photopea I had incorportated many pictures from my own life such as Will and I, Jensons Homecoming ask, Connor Nicpon, and Jensons as a little boy. I had made a scene that includes many strange things going on such as Jenson fighting a big sea monster, Jensons asking Connor to homecoming, and Will and I in our football uniform giving a thumbs up on a beach. It had took me some time finding all of these pictures and editing them together but in the end this one was probably my favorite project to do.

Typography

this was one of our first in person projects, we had made the alphabet in the shape of themes of our choosing. I had chosen a Farm theme. this was one of the most fun project I had done for this class and and it took a while to make. I would describe this project to be very unique as it was difficult to figure out how some equipment could be shaped into some alphabetical letters

Digital color wheel

The digital color wheel was probably the hardest and my least favorite project that we did this class, it involved us mixing colors on a website that was some what hard to get around. We were supposed to make a color wheel of all primary and secondary colors.

Mandela

Following the color wheel we had to create a Mandela project using the colors of our choosing and creating a patterned circle. the as we had done the color wheel before I had gotten a better understanding on how to use the website however it still was difficult to use sometimes. Another difficult task about this project was choosing the colors to use as we had to pick colors that went with each other so I wasn't able to pick the colors I wanted exactly.

APRIL

Personal and Pet Logos

For this project we had created some brands of our choosing and based them off things we have, such as pets and family. For the brand I had made for my dog I had used a picture of a black panther and put my dogs name with my last name since he's apart of my family. My dog was actually named after the animals panther because when he was born he was all black and looked like a panther. this project was fun and easy and I had enjoyed involving my family with art.

APRIL

Creative Food Truck

This our last and final project in art apart from the one I am doing right now. this was by far the most unique and fun art project I have done and definitely was a good one to end the school year on. We had created food trucks with the food of our choosing. along with the trucks we had made business cards and props to show what our food would look like in real life. The food that I chose was cookies and I had designed my truck to have a cookie being dunked in milk and have the main items on the menu to be milk and cookies. The name of my food truck was called dunkers and the business cards that I had made appeared to be a cookie and having a bite mark in them. although this project didn't involve myself I still enjoyed it very much.

I am senior at Regina and I feel like my love for art started in elementary school when we would always make clay projects. I loved making tiny projects that I can control on my own such as the food truck and the photo collage. Fun fact had won the art show 2 times because I drew the rainbow fish over and over again. after highschool I plan to take welding classes because I do have a love for welding. I have actually made some welding projects such as metal flowers and I really enjoyed making those.
