My name is Irene Stavridou and I am a primary school teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years. This year I teach the 3rd and 4th grade of the Eleonas primary school. Eleonas is located at a distance of 15 km. from Thebes. Thebes is a city in Central Greece next to Athens, the capital of Greece. Thebes has a great history as it is one of the most ancient cities of ancient Greece.

I like traveling and meeting new people. Although I come from a mountain village, I love the sea. I especially like the summer when I swim in the sea under the wonderful Greek sun. I always spend my free time with my two children. We go for walks, play board games or have movie nights.

This is the first project I am involved in and I am very happy. My students are excited, too. I hope everyone enjoy this project!

In my class there are children in several grades at the same time from 7 to 11 years old.

I teach Spanish language, mathematics, English, and science. This year I am the language advisor at my school and I decided to carry out this project to work with teachers from all over Europe.

I think it's a great opportunity and it can lead to some really cool things.

I love travelling and knowing other cultures so I am looking forward to learning more about Greek culture.

My students are really excited to have news from greek kids.

This year I am teaching in a small school located in a rural area. I teach in the 1st and 2nd grades and I and my young students are very happy for this new activity as it is the first time we take part in a European program that will give us the opportunity to get to know the culture of other countries. My students are looking forward to learning the habits and working with the Spanish school children.
