         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Predict how many drops you think you are going to fit on the penny.</div><div>2.Place a penny in front of you.</div><div>3.Squeeze the pipette and holding the bulb closed, insert the pipette into the beaker of water.</div><div>4.Release the bulb (water should draw up into the pipette).</div><div>5.Slowly release individual drops onto the penny. &nbsp;</div><div>6.Count the number of&nbsp; drops you can fit onto the penny.&nbsp; Be sure to look at the penny at eye level after 20 drops.&nbsp; It is amazing!</div><div>7.Record how many drops you were able to fit onto the penny.</div><div>8.Repeat the procedures, but this time, use alcohol instead of water.</div><div>9.Be sure to dry your pennies when you are finished.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Look up the definitions of polar and non-polar and record them on your paper.   Also, draw an example of a  polar molecule for question 1.</div><div>2.Obtain 2 beakers.</div><div>3.Using a graduated cylinder, measure 25 ml of water and pour into each beaker.</div><div>4.Mass out 2 g of salt using a weighing boat and scale. (Zero out, or tare, the scale with the weighing boat before your start)</div><div>5.Place the salt into beaker 1 and stir using a stirring rod.</div><div>6.Mass out 2 g of cornstarch using a weighing boat and place it into beaker 2.  Stir using a stirring rod.</div><div>7.Record your results.  Answer question 2 - Which substance(s) did not completely dissolve in water? Why?</div><div>8.Rinse out your lab equipment and make sure your station is perfectly clean before moving onto the next.</div>]]></description>
