Ignorance is connected to racism because those that are ignorant are not educated in race related topics. If not educated, a person will base their personal opinion off of what the see and hear, instead of certain knowledge. E.g. A child grows up in a home with racist parents. That child is a sponge, soaking up every racist comment and micro-agression they overheard. This child will grow up to be ignorant, and inherently racist.
