The interview regarding Juvenile justice was conducted by several judges.

The first judge Thomas Edward stated that the 14-year-old does not have the level of maturity, thought process, decision-making, experience, or wisdom that adult has. And 14-year-old may not appreciate the consequences of that type of behavior because they are still growing.

The second judge LaDoris Cordell stated that adults are giving up on them. They are salvageable young people, and they are able to get their lives together and work and be responsible like other people.

The third judge Bridgett Jones pointed that young children are not little adults, think differently as adults, and young children have chance to get back out and be in community easily than adults, so the 14-year-old offender needs to treat differently than the 24-year-old offender.

The forth judge Kurt Kumli talked about the importance of having professional to help these kids such as psychologists and drug and alcohol counselors.

The fifth judge Nancy Hoffman said that the way to rehabilitate young offender is having a group with families, friend and in school.
