She obviously has a great relationship with the students, and is able to maintain a positive and productive environment. I was especially impressed with her patience in responding to questions and redirecting students when necessary, good sense of humor, and efforts to provide well thought out science activities that were clearly directed to also encourage the development of English reading, writing and vocabulary skills! The material in Stephanie's class is easy to read, and she uses diagrams, text emphasis, and translations to help her students understand.
Stephanie uses the document camera to show students examples and what to do, rather than relying on them to just read or listen.  Her physical demonstrations make it much easier for her kids to follow!
Stephanie builds into her students by reminding them of past successes in her class!
Stephanie makes sure to check in with each lab group as they are working...her students are responsible and respectful of the class materials/equipment!

Stephanie’s rapport with the students and emphasis on language learning was excellent.
